Tips on Visiting The Creation Museum During Holidays and Winter Months

Creation Museum is located in Kentucky, the museum is 75,000 square foot, and it has a biblical, chronological, and earth history of God’s creation.

We visited the museum with my husband, my cousin’s family who has a 5 years old daughter, and a friend of ours with 8 years old daughter.

The museum is educational for kids who already know how to read and comprehend and likewise for teens and grown-ups.

For toddlers, they easily get bored and will not appreciate all the displays that include readings; however, they will enjoy the ice skating rink, dinosaur displays, and playground outside the museum. But since it is winter, you have to bundle them up to stay warm out. The museum ground has a lot of warming stations and will help everyone to warm up. They also have hot chocolates if you need hot drinks to warm up. So dress warm if you will visit during the winter days, I would also recommend keeping hand warmer in your pocket if you will roam around the museum ground.

The Christmas town is free to families if your purpose is just to see the Christmas town light displays; if you want to go inside the museum, you have to pay upgrades for admission.

The museum has all the safety precautions for covid 19; you can find sanitizers around the museum. They have strict rules for wearing masks and reminders for social distancing.

If you will visit today until December 30, 2020. Here is my take away:

To save money for your December 2020 visit. Here is my take away:

Visit the museum after 5pm, they have this promo “Christmas Town”, the admission fee for adults is $24.99, $22.99 for Seniors, $17.99 for youths, and $9.99 for children (ages 5-10), which includes a Free dinner meal and entrance to the museum; this is a good deal rather than buying the $39.95 general admission ticket. This promo ends until Dec. 30 only. Visit the Christmas Town Promo here.

The food included in the promo for the Christmas town upgrade is delicious. We order the pot roast, and also includes the fountain drink. This is a reasonable price for $25, rather than paying the General admission ticket for day time.

If your child wants to play in the skating rink, it is $7.99 for 1 hour; it includes skating shoes. They clean the shoes before each use.

The Stargazer planetarium for the Christmas Star show is educational but not worth the money for $9.00. The show lasted only for almost 20-25 minutes, the show is cartoon animated show, discussing the constellations in relevance to the birth of Jesus Christ. Everyone is different; you may like it, though.

To get more value for the money, check the other free show available in the museum.

Parking is $10 per vehicle, so if you are with other friends, you can ride in one car to save a parking fee if they have a big car.

Take advantage of the Free Christmas town it will end on December 30; they have stunning Christmas lights displays. Visiting the Christmas town is a great family tradition, you can feel the vibes of holiday and winter season. Just make sure to follow all of all the precautionary measures for covid 19 to protect yourself.

All in all, our visit to the Creation Museum is fun and memorable. We gain a lot of knowledge and insights about dinosaurs, insects and the story of creations from the bible. The museum is very unique; you cannot find it in other museums out there. It will deepen your faith and understanding of the genesis in the bible.

How to travel safely during Pandemic

This year has been rough for everyone due to this Covid 19 Pandemic. It is scary to travel for a vacations but if you follow all the safety precautions on how to travel in this pandemic you will be good to go.

Before traveling make sure you are healthy to travel by air or by car.

To travel safely here’s my travel tips during this covid 19.

  1. Travel lightly, don’t over packed things, prepare enough clothes for your days of travel, enough for you to carry.
  2. If you are traveling by air, please make sure to follow airline regulations for air travel during covid 19 especially if you are traveling international that takes longer hours by plane.
  3. Before seating to your assigned seat double check if it is clean and neat.
  4. Do not forget to wear your mask or face shield while traveling inside the plane, going to the restaurant and other business establishment that requires everyone to wear masks.
  5. Make sure to carry hand sanitizer and sanitizing wipes to clean your hands before eating. Avoid touching your face, because even we clean our hands it is not guaranteed that our hands is free from germs or bacteria.
  6. When using a wash room or rest room make sure to check if toilet seats are clean. Don’t forget to wash your hands after.
  7. Traveling by car gives you more freedom than traveling by air, you can carry more stuff and you can easily distant yourself from other people.
  8. Always follow social distancing
  9. Wether you are traveling for a vacation or business, take all the necessary precautions for your safety.
  10. Lastly don’t forget your travel documents if you are traveling international. Please check the CDC guidelines for Covid 19 for more information on how to travel safely.
